Whether you're eager to escape reality, relax in paradise or explore an iconic city, one of these new hotels is certainly for you. All opening throughout 2017, each hotel offers the ultimate in luxury and supreme services. From a hotel in a former South African grain silo to a luxury resort nestled in the heart of Ubud's rainforest, these are five of the hotel openings we're most excited about this year.

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

16th February 2017

Opened earlier this month, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is the newest addition to the 1 Hotels group. With sweeping views of the East River and Manhattan skyline through floor to ceiling windows in each room, it's quickly establishing itself as the place to stay outside of Manhattan. Designed by local artists using native greenery and reclaimed materials, sustainability was at the forefront of every decision made whilst building 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. A rainwater tank underneath the hotel will help water Brooklyn Bridge Park during the city's scorching summer months. Each of the four dining outlets offers clean, healthy options.

The Silo Hotel, Cape Town

1st March 2017

Built within the iconic former grain silo building, The Silo Hotel stands proudly on Cape Town's waterfront. This ultra-modern hotel has just 28 rooms, including one spectacular penthouse bedroom. Each room will be individually designed with colourful and eclectic pieces, contrasting against the modern, industrial architecture of the building. The hotel will begin on the sixth floor, with the below floors belonging to the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Africa (MOCAA), due to open September 2017. Admire stunning views of Table Mountain whilst enjoying a cocktail from the bar, or take a dip in the glass pool, all located on the building's rooftop.

Hoshinoya, Bali

20th January 2017

For those eager to escape, the newly opened Hoshinoya is perfect. Unparalleled luxury nestled in the heart of Ubud's rainforest; the hotel's 30 idyllic villas overlook the picturesque Parkerisan River. Sacred water canals flow through the resort, which are part of the island's age-old water temple network recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Landscape. Hoshinoya Bali's restaurant serves traditional Balinese culinary blended with Japanese techniques, enhancing both the flavour and presentation of these culinary delights.

Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square, London

26th January 2017

Located within a beautiful Grade II listed building, the second Four Seasons Hotel to open in London is a short walk from the City of London, ideal for business or leisure. Opened in January, this iconic hotel has just 100 rooms, including 11 suites- some with intricate original plasterwork and soaring ceilings. The hotel offers two destination restaurants-French and Asian- as well as the Rotunda, an all-day restaurant, bar and lounge. Experience the City of London's most lavish spa sanctuary, offering a range of health and wellness treatments. The hotel features Le Dame de Pic from acclaimed three Michelin-starred French chef Anne-Sophie Pic and The Club – an exclusive private members' club forged by a partnership with Chateau Latour and Reignwood.

Kokomo Island Resort, Fiji

31st March 2017

Surrounded by pristine white sands and glistening turquoise oceans, Kokomo Island is Fiji's newest and most exclusive private island resort. With the Great Astrolabe Reef just metres from the Shore of Kokomo Island, guests can explore the wonders of the reef through a range of water activities included in their stay. Complete with a kids club, a spa, several restaurants and various other activities both on and off-land, Kokomo Island is perfect for honeymooners, families and groups alike. The island's villas have all been designed with sustainability, relaxation and privacy in mind. Guests have the option of choosing from the owner's residence, located on the beachfront, one of the four luxury hilltop residences, elevated amidst tropical rainforest, or opt for one of the 21 exclusive beachside villas.
