Framed inside Victoria Harbour, with skyscrapers sparkling either side, Hong Kong’s New Year’s Eve fireworks are among the world’s most spectacular displays. From fine dining with a view to glamorous penthouse suites to Hong Kong’s best rooftop bars, here’s where to ring in 2026 the right way.

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

Best for: prolonging the celebrations with an overnight stay.

This splendid NYE package includes a full programme of memorable experiences for two. Arrive in the afternoon for a two-hour pre-party pamper at The Mandarin Spa (one of Hong Kong’s best hotel spas), including a foot ritual, salt body scrub, and massage, before dressing up for a festive dinner at the Mandarin Grill + Bar. Later, guests are whisked upstairs to The Aubrey After Dark countdown party to enjoy the fireworks. Rooms come with access to The Mandarin Club, and brunch at Clipper Lounge – complete with free-flow Champagne – is also included on New Year’s Day.
