With over 400 spas catering to a three million-strong population, it’s safe to say Dubai goes big when it comes to beautifying. And its latest spas follow suit, ranging from eco-conscious retreats rooted in ancient traditions to high-tech wellness centres specialising in biohacking – as well as the Middle Eastern debut of one of the world's most luxurious fashion brands. So, here’s your guide to the city’s newest and most opulent spa destinations to get your glow up this month.
The Dior Spa, The Lana
It’s a double first at The Lana, as The Dorchester Collection’s inaugural Middle East property also contains Dior’s debut spa in the region. It has five private treatment rooms, a couple’s suite, and a beauty room for nail and make-up sessions with Dior artists – but the real star is the spa menu, where each treatment is infused with Dior DNA and built around the brand’s biggest beauty heroes. For example: the Le Soin Premier Dior Prestige facial, which makes full use of Dior’s anti-ageing Prestige range.
The Lana, Marasi Dr, Business Bay, Dubai
Treatment to try: The Escale at The Lana. One of two exclusive Diorituals, you’re invited you to slip into silk Dior pyjamas and relax on a futon. The therapist then performs a dry massage inspired by ancient Japanese techniques, which is a blend of pressure, stretching, and friction designed to release tension. You’ll leave feeling like you’re floating on air.
Recovery Lab, SIRO One Za’abeel
A spa that can help you live longer? It’s possible at five-star hotel SIRO One Za’abeel, whose Recovery Lab has taken a health-focused approach. The 31st-floor space offers a blend of wellness amenities, including saunas, steam rooms, and ice-cold plunge pools, alongside state-of-the-art tech and genuinely revolutionary treatments. You could try high-frequency and light therapies, cryotherapy, compression therapy, and IV therapy, all of which are designed to optimise your wellness, health, and performance.
Zaa'beel Street, Za'abeel, Za'abeel, Dubai
Treatment to try: The Skin Workout facial. This is a high-performance massage enhanced by a potent blend of active ingredients, antioxidants, and enzymes, ensuring skin is left revitalised and glowing without you having to break into a sweat.
Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie, One&Only One Za’abeel
One&Only’s new spa is also focused on longevity – and it’s certainly got room to do so in its three-story, 3,800 square-metre spa. Each guest begins their spa journey with a comprehensive evaluation, which is then used to personalise a plan to optimise their health and longevity. You’ll then choose from a range of high-tech treatments, including cryotherapy, far-infrared therapy (FIR), IV drips, neuro-wave stimulation, and a soak in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Pioneering aesthetic enhancements are also available – like, mesotherapy, dermal fillers, and Botox.
Za'abeel, Za'abeel 1, Dubai
Treatment to try: anyone needing a pick-me-up should try the Energise signature treatment. Expect a series of therapies, including a 15-minute cryotherapy session to increase energy and collagen production, an energy-boosting IV drip, and a revitalising massage – all aimed at increasing the body’s energy flow.
Serenity – The Art of Well Being, Fairmont The Palm
Globally renowned spa Serenity – The Art of Well Being has recently chosen Fairmont the Palm as its fourth location in Dubai. Part of the spa’s ethos is to integrate regional culture into its traditional healing therapies, meaning you’ll find healing UAE ingredients like oud, rose oil, and pearl on the bespoke spa menu. Facilities include a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, with experience showers designed to promote inner calm and tranquillity pre- and post-treatment.
Palm Jumeirah, The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
Treatment to try: the signature Senses of Dubai treatment. It begins with an oud oil-infused salt body scrub to exfoliate and detoxify, followed by a pearl wrap rich in antioxidants and magnesium and a full-body hydrating treatment using rose and gold leaf oil, which stimulates collagen production and deeply nourishes the skin.
ReFIVE Spa, Five LUXE JBR
Five LUXE opened in April at the buzzing Jumeirah Beach Residence, and, whilst the new hotel has injected a fresh dose of luxury into Dubai’s dynamic beach club scene, its spa does what spas do best: act as a sanctuary of calm and tranquillity. As well as the typical menu of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments focused on self-care, the exciting news here is this is the only spa to offer facials by Linda Meredith – a London fave amongst the A-list.
FIVE LUXE, 5th Floor, The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai
Treatment to try: for the ultimate indulgence, experience the spa’s signature 90-minute healing salt and crystal massage on a sensorial quartz bed. This treatment aids relaxation and balance, leaving you ready to either party the night away or find your inner peace.
