Giving back matters.

Giving back to our communities is an integral part of Quintessentially, and we are very proud to work alongside our charitable Foundation, helping to tackle child poverty and the limitations it places on the futures of children and young people. ​

We have been involved in multiple initiatives through its flagship programme, The Firefly Project. This project finds, funds, and supports small frontline children’s charities in London hoping to make a big difference. These charities often have some of the best solutions to society's biggest problems –  however, they are often overlooked and underfunded. ​

Through The Firefly Project, we help to scale charity partners’ successful interventions for young people, tackling child poverty in all forms. The project provides partner charities with:

​In line with these goals, we have delivered informative workshops to aspirational young students through charity partners Team Up and 20/20 Levels. We have also opened up our network of inspirational tutors and supporters to volunteer for these incredible charities, as well as the likes of Doorstep Library. Our staff have also participated in Quintessentially Foundation’s annual cycling fundraising event, which has raised over £4 million and covered over 5,000 km in its 14-year history.​​

Continuing our support, we pledge to increase Doorstep Library’s pool of reading volunteers, conduct skills-based training workshops for Team Up’s volunteers, and deliver education-based workshops with 20/20 Levels to increase opportunities available to their students.

Future Frontiers is an award-winning education charity dedicated to helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds achieve their full potential at school, and successfully transition to further education, employment, or training at 16. Through intensive coaching programmes led by business professionals, students connect with role models in their chosen industries, and last year, we collaborated to provide a unique opportunity that had a meaningful impact on the young lives of students.

Quintessentially’s employee volunteers were matched with a select group of Year 10 students, who visited our London office for a series of four engaging coaching sessions spanning a month-long period. Throughout the programme, mentors offered tailored guidance and support, working closely with students to navigate a structured handbook and take part in purposeful activities designed to help them make informed choices about their future.
