First started in commemoration of the Stonewall riots, a pivotal moment in LGBTQ+ history, Pride has now grown into a global celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. Typically taking the form of parades, marches and parties, this year most of the festivities are being held online in consideration of lockdown and social distancing measures.
