June, the month of the Pearl is upon us, and Yoko London has quite the array for us to choose from at their new flagship boutique in Knightsbridge. To celebrate the pearl, Quintessentially and Yoko have teamed up to offer Quintessentially member's a complimentary pair of 18kt pearl stud earrings when purchasing more than £3,000 worth of Yoko pearls in June.

Established in 1973 by the Hakimian family, Yoko has evolved into one of the leading luxury pearl jewellery brands in the world, with an impressive host of celebrity admirers and high profile accolades.

Renowned for their use of unique pearls in rare natural colours and exceptional sizes, the family run team spanning over three generations consists of the finest pearl specialists in the world. The gifted designers and craftsmen work together in the London workshop to create pieces which are at the forefront of jewellery trends, combining a contemporary aesthetic, with timeless elegance. Each design revolves around the natural beauty of the pearls, insuring each intricate detail only enhances the magic of the organic gems.

The dedicated team have been known to spend up to a year locating just one pearl, which is exact in size, colour and quality, to perfect a single design. Each pearl is hand-picked for every individual design, and creations are intricately crafted to celebrate the captivating beauty of the precious gems.

In 2013, four Yoko London sets from the 'Masterpiece' collection were selected to go on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum's 'Pearls' exhibition, which was held in collaboration with the Qatar Museums Authority. Yoko was selected for the quality of their designs and their imaginative use of naturally coloured pearls.

To add to their success, Yoko was chosen as the Official Jewellery Partner of the British Academy Film Awards 2015. BAFTA presenters and nominees bejewelled themselves in Yoko London's unique designs for the awards and surrounding parties.

Yoko is very much a regular on the royal circuit and with heads of state, their magnificent designs have been donned for some of the most glamorous events around the globe. Most recently Michelle Obama, Beyonce and Katy Perry have been seen adorned in their designs.

CEO, Michael Hakimian commented, "The opening of our luxurious new flagship boutique marks new heights for the Yoko London brand. We are thrilled to bring our unique jewellery to such a prime retail location in one of London's finest areas. Our new expanded space gives us the opportunity to showcase more of our exquisite pearl designs to London's diverse and discerning customers, and provide a range of bespoke services to our valued clients".

The new boutique combines opulent Emperador marble, natural brass, Alcantara suede and natural leather, with elegant and understated lacquer and limestone, all laced together by a magnificent Victorian spiral staircase stretching over the three floors. The end result is the creation of a luxurious and sumptuous space to ponder and explore all of your pearl needs.

A rotation of the brand's most spectacular, one of a kind sets from their Masterpiece Collection will be on display at the boutique along with a wide selection of fine quality loose pearls and strands enabling them to turn clients' visions into reality. The unique space is envisaged as a pearl atelier where Yoko's creative team can work closely with clients on bespoke pearl creations.

Exclusive pieces sit alongside an offering of classic pearl items, as well as fashion forward designs from collections such as the Novus and Pendulum Collections. These modern collections have been designed with the contemporary woman in mind, offering fresh and innovative ways to wear pearl jewellery from day to night.
