JOB SUMMARY

Quintessentially are looking for an impressive and dynamic Event Producer to become an integral part of Hong Kong team. If you are an experienced, motivated and ideas-driven individual with a desire to deliver high-end events for some of the world's top international brands, we like to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, planning and executing a range of premium and ultra-premium events to a very high standard for leading brands and HNW private clients. With the ability to introduce new business to the company, client retention remains a major part of the role.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, manage and execute a wide range of cross-sector events such as product launches, high profile & luxury brand events, gala dinners, conferences and private parties and networking events.
  • Understand event brief and program objective in order to create action plan, budget and project schedule for the events
  • Communicate well with internal and external stakeholders to manage each event project
  • Manage suppliers to negotiate the best price, creative development, venue sourcing, design & décor production, AV & technical requirements, entertainment, catering management, pre and on-site event logistics and operation team management.
  • Meet prospective clients, take complex briefs and represent the brand in the best possible light.
  • Manage preparation of strategic and creative pitches, formulate first draft budgets and present to clients.
  • Research, create and produce physical event contents
  • Provide inputs/advice from event operation perspective during RFP pitch and ideation process
  • Work closely with business development manager and senior management within the team to support event planning and creating unique concept and experience.
  • Responsible for event budgets from draft to reconciliation, ensuring events are meticulously managed and delivered on target to meet client expectations and company profit margin.
  • Being a key contact point for any event planning and operation matter internally and externally.
  • Build strong relationship with suppliers, vendors and venue partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven record of event planning and management with 5-8 years of relevant experience either in creative, experiential or communications agencies working to deliver exceptional events, campaigns, live activations and integrated strategies.
  • Deep understanding of (interpreting) business objectives into event-based solutions, demonstrable knowledge of international audience engagement.
  • Strong commercial acumen, proven experience in winning new business and driving organised growth with existing clients.
  • Degree-Holder with a track record of delivering exceptional events within APAC region.
  • On-ground experience, working in a similar role in Hong Kong or the region.
  • Well connected within the event management industry with strong links to quality suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Trustworthy, discrete and sensitive to client requirements at all times.
  • Outstanding project management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written & oral communication – fluent English is essential with Mandarin and Cantonese a strong advantage.
  • A passion for events and delivering service excellence.
